Mike Easley As A Cautionary Tale For Asheboro's "Right People" And Ray Criscoe's Courier Tribune

The Winston-Salem Journal has a SPOT-ON column today on the fall of Mike Easley.

Those "right people" in Asheboro, hearing only the "yeses", and hiding behind silence and their glass pay walls would do well to heed the warning in the story.

A governor that made furniture in a state that lost most of its furniture jobs overseas.....there's a bit of irony in that.

I didn't need a reclusive carpenter, I needed a Governor who was what he said he was - and who cared about what he said he cared about.

Alas, the Easleys will land on their feet the same way Mike Miller did . . . and more's the pity.
