Tell me again that we do not occasionally NEED the death penalty in North Carolina . . . and that perhaps we should use at least use firing squads instead of doctors and needles.

My father saw one of the last public hangings in this state on the lawn of the old courthouse in Asheboro. He said that it made an impression on him, and that he never wanted to do anything that would cause him to suffer a similar fate.
This could easily be revived for folks that like to molest and kill children.
