What I Would Like To Say To "Beth Smith" . . .

. . . over on the Courier Tribune's boards . . . but cannot because I've been locked out AGAIN as "SPAM".

(A lot of Beth's comments and taunts came down over the weekend.  It appears that someone is doing serious damage control.  I have my suspicions as to why - and I've got an e-mail out to either confirm or refute them.)

I really don't know what they're doing over there at that newspaper, but it's just getting stupid.

Beth Smith, rumor has it that you're an educated woman . . .

. . and if you are, I'd suggest that rather than taking the word of a poor-about-to-be-unemployed store clerk (who, you can bet your brass has been told what to say by the brass), you might try looking at the bigger picture.

Mr. Armfield and I are here in the blogosphere - and on the Courier's boards - because (answering your question, "Who cares?"), WE CARE about Asheboro and Randleman and Randolph County, and we are sick & tired of watching it slowly die because of the actions of a privileged & entitled Teflon-coated few . . . and a newspaper that cannot report the truth about anything.

We have lives too. We're educated professionals & child advocates (not-so-young any more) born and raised in the area (I still own a home here - but you know that) - forced by the dwebes running Asheboro to work somewhere else.

We're here because we can see what's in front of our noses and we want it to change.

OBTW, we have just as much right to an opinion as you do. Indeed both of us EARNED ours.

Morevoer, if you think you are going to come on these boards and call us "crazy", you need to think again.
