The huge uproar over Juan Williams' firing by NPR (over-kill in the politically-correct department - and a bad day for free speech), doesn't move me very much . . . since Williams was scooped up by Fox News the very next day (a very good day for Juan).
I am, however, intrigued by the calls to cut NPR's funding. I like it.
And that's because it's pretty much the same thing I've asked of JCAHO and DHHS and the IRS . . . with regards to Randolph Hospital executives, Robert Morrison and Steven Eblin, repeatedly lying under Oath about matters relevant to a civil damages claim . . .
Until they own up and clean up their act, strip their hospital of its accreditation. Stop showing them the public money. Revoke their "non-profit" status.
Hit them where it hurts. As they once hurt me.
