They Won't Look At Court Documents Or Public Records, But NC Law Enforcement Wants Access To Your Medical Records!?!

An article from the N&O hit the front page of DRUDGE today:

Sheriffs in North Carolina want access to state computer records identifying anyone with prescriptions for powerful painkillers and other controlled substances.

Me being me (and my head exploding), I left a comment:

Law enforcement in this state wants access to the confidential/privileged medical records of people legitimately taking narcotics/opioids for the treatment of chronic pain.

Yet law enforcement cannot prosecute the cases they have languishing right under their noses - with wrongdoing etched in indelible black & white and already on the public record.

Justice in this state is beyond wacked-out!
