Thank you Dr. Johnson for your compliment! People believe what they read in the local newspaper so a reporter's error can do lots of damage. Does the absence of comments mean that nobody cares about injustice and corruption as long as basic needs like water and healthcare are being met?
Of course, being a low-life hick/not-a-Cone from Randolph County, I'm well versed in something people read in the local newspaper doing a lot of damage:
Mike, as you well know, I've been here in this blogosphere for five years beggging for help fighting injustice and corruption.
After years of not delivering on ANY of the things they've said they care about, the Cones and Rochs and Sues in this blogosphere (out-standing judges of character that they are) are now INTENT on blowing smoke in defense of a blogger whose bad behavior towards EVERYONE is legendary, and who clearly crossed a line that they've previously wailed and gnashed about when it's been crossed in lesser fashion.
[For those who have not clued in, that's EXACTLY what all the recent drama over Bubba is about . . . NEVERMIND that anyone with even a passing knowledge of the background behind recent events (Roch/Sue should try it sometime) knows that Bubba's "keep it up" was referencing his consideration of legal action . . . because in CLASSIC Conian fashion, he's been targeted and backed into a corner online (despite multiple entreaties for it to STOP) . . . because these people cannot stand his world-view and he simply MUST be marginalized/destroyed.]
But they HATE me. So it's okay.And/so, the answer to your question . . . the
"argument" that "Fec" actually made in the despicable post that started this mess . . . the one I countered here at Housecalls is a resounding . . .
. . . YES!!!
They do NOT care as long as it's not about them.
See any irony there?
