I'm relieved to know that I'm not the only one who has been a little icked-out by big-name reporters in Haiti inserting themselves into the stories they're telling . . . in a fashion that honestly feels a little too self-aggrandizing and exploitative for comfort.
Reporters diving in to help is great/noble/admirable. But maybe the cameras should be turned off when they do.
