As I seethe that I ever pleaded my case to the oily likes of John Edwards and Mike Sleazely and Marc Basnight (or as some of my more conservative/anti-imperial pals call him, Bassackwards) and all the rest, the Washington Post has published a preview of Andrew Young's book.
Edwards wanted to abort the baby. But of course, he did! As one commenter at Under-the-N&O's-leaking-blue-Dome noted, that would make him a Democratic front-runner in 2012.
I'm wondering if a copy of the tape of that "slow motion traffic pile-up" will be in a sleeve on the book's jacket cover? That would keep it off the three-dollar pile for a long while.
Turning the page: This afternoon, it was reported that Elizabeth and John have separated.
