Going through the legal files, working on a draft, and Googling key players in my sad saga (they know who they are), I came across something very odd.
My former "partner", Kathleen Riley, works for Randolph Medical Associates.
Why then does she pop up under a P.O. Box in Asheboro for "Providence Pediatrics"? With a land line in Charlotte?
And why doesn't an Asheboro address pull up under corporate listings at the NC Secretary of State's website?

Did Dr. Kathleen A. Riley leave Asheboro? For Charlotte? Surely not? Nobody would leave RMA, after all it's a top notch medical practice, or is it?
Heavy sigh. A long time ago, some very dedicated ladies worked very hard to make the Pediatric division a "top-notch" place.
Excuse me for a moment. I have to rub the scars from the knives in my back.
No, as far as I know Kathleen is still there. But that's not to say that she wasn't once (or is currently) plotting to leave.
But the result of that Google search was very odd - especially since it came up first.
