How Do You Know I Am Not Lying?

Last night, admittedly a little unnerved by the malicious/sexist personal slur in my Inbox (actually, unnerved is not a good word - sad/disgusted is better) . . . placed there by someone who obviously is a Morrison/Eblin/Copeland fan . . . or maybe even was Morrison/Eblin/Copeland . . . I posted some thoughts on anonymous comments.

Even though I more than understand why people (especially people - on both sides - in this situation) feel the need to remain anonymous, I don't put a lot of stock in anonymous comments. There is no accountability in an anonymous comment.

So the "anonymous" pig who got a big kick out of offering that no one would bang me in a broom closet is really someone to be ignored. He would not say that to my face.

And if he did, he would only say it once.

And/so on that note, here is another thought:

All I have done for over eleven years is ask for accountability. I was denied ANY KIND of due process or fair hearing by Randolph Hospital - or ANY of the oversight arms of the institutions and state/federal agencies that I begged for help. I was ready and willing to be vetted - I begged for it.

Bob and Steve were not.

When we finally got to trial, Mr. Morrison and Mr. Eblin decided they didn't want to go there. My mistake was acquiescing to all of the people screaming at me to take the deal.

But the deal . . . the settlement . . . was based on a pack of lies . . . lies that, even in the lowly civil realm . . . amount to perjury, contempt, fraud and (yes) even obstruction of justice.

Now, I have asked the local District Attorney and/or the police department and/or the sheriff's department to investigate this case . . . and they have flat out refused. Indeed King, Andy and the rest have been downright nasty over the years. The FACT is that in six years, Garland Yates has refused to even meet with me.

When I asked the SBI for investigate, Garland shut that down before it could even start (this was after King Dozier told me it would go up the chain for review) - telling the SBI that he would not prosecute. The SBI told me that there was no sense conducting an investigation if the local DA would not pursue the case. It was a waste of time, money and resources.

And that ladies and gents, when you really think about it, actually translates to "Good pediatricians are a dime a dozen". In North Carolina, protecting good doctors from retaliation for doing their duty is a waste of time, money and resources.

Going up the chain, I wrote letters to the Governor, Lt. Governor (now Governor Beverly Perdue) and N.C. Attorney General . . . begging them to intervene . . . in a case involving (1) a former public servant & licensed physician, and (2) a "non-profit" hospital that gets state & federal funding. The AG's office took a dive - saying it had no jurisdiction in the case.

I actually think that position is kind of scary - for anybody walking into a North Carolina hospital for treatment.

So. In point of fact, this case has NEVER gotten ANY KIND of fair/impartial investigation by the State of North Carolina. And that is because Bob and Steve have very important friends in high places (it's called a "network") who have helped them keep the lid slammed shut.

They are "somebodies" and I am "nobody".

How do you know I'm not lying? Well, if you are determined to believe Bob and Steve . . . and you're not going to ask them a single question - based on black & white evidence that the Randolph County DA and the N.C. Attorney General have in their possession . . . and you're going to let them be shielded no matter what, I suppose you don't.

But it's not because I have not tried.

And it's certainly not because I have not put myself out here and signed my name.
