It's Friday the 13th, so I probably need to tone it down today. "Part Two" took a lot out of me. Working on "Part 3" . . . looking to post it on Sunday (no promises). Stay tuned.
OBTW, Timmy is entered in some kind of "National Anthem" contest on You Tube. Please support him. I'm a little biased, but I think he has a right purty voice;)
As the new series progresses, I am starting to get more e-mails and letters from former parents and grandparents, along the lines of, "Do you remember . . .?" They're very heart-felt. I am responding to the e-mails. One such response went out this morning. Excerpts are posted below:
Your letter is in my files and I do appreciate what you tried to do. It is wonderful consolation. But what none of us really could comprehend at the time was how EVIL the forces I was fighting really were. They (Bob/Steve/the Boards of Directors) were not going to listen to anyone. The newspaper (David Renfro & company) was in their pockets. They had the ability to cover up what they were doing by lying and slandering me, so they did it - because they could. It's a recurring theme in our lovely little mill town.
This series on the blog is something I should have done quite a while ago. But I was afraid. I'm not any more. And I am not because of people like you.
In this series, I ultimately plan to publish all of the letters parents & colleagues wrote on my behalf. But I have several stories to weave together first.
All I ask of readers like you is to spread the word about my blog - at churches, at daycares, etc. People need to know the truth. They need to know what the leaders of Randolph Hospital are capable of - what they will do for power and money.
Again, thank you for your interest and your kind words. For a very long time, the words of folks like you was all I had to hang on to.

It's not just your little mill town, Dr. J. Alamance County is just as bad ... if not worse.
Indeed, Anon 4:25. The grass isn't any greener anywhere else. It's just a matter of degree.
"Small/mill town" politics is particularly bad in the far Western part of the state. My Daddy ran into that when he was playing trains - motorcars actually. One of these days, I'm gonna blog about that. It broke his heart as Asheboro broke mine.
Ergo, the reason I still maintain my permanent home in Asheboro (one of the YaYas house-sits) even as I travel/work elsewhere.
