Bev Perdue strikes again - by appointing a registered lobbyist (well, he was until yesterday) to lead NCDHHS.
"I really believe secretary Cansler understands that the mission of DHHS is to put our citizens first."
Really Bev? You and your predecessors REALLY COULD HAVE FOOLED ME.
WHEN are YOU going to call for an investigation of THIS? You got the letter as Lieutenant Governor. You can't say you didn't know. You did not lift a finger.
I "really believe" that you don't give a rat's tail about the citizens who man the front lines and fight the real battles. I for sure don't see ANY evidence of change.
I see a "good-ole-girl" conducting business as usual. Pay-to-play.

Dr Johnson, I am 'cheripicker' from Cone's blog. I named myself that to remind him of the many nitpicky labels he has used to dismiss arguments I have made which he could not refute on merit. We conversed briefly today after one of your posts was giving me major deja vu. I am a physician in Greensboro. How do I email you?
Click on my profile in the sidebar.
Nice to meet yet another physician who has been properly "Coned". Welcome to the club.
FYI, I have not commented at WordUp in ages - and rarely read it. But Wray's lawsuit has turned the heat up in GSO, and I just thought (what with a new year and arguably a higher profile as the latest local blogger GSO city councilmen love to hate), I'd give my new blogger "credentials" another shot.
But the boys will be boys.
Unfortunately, I've decided Edward is quite useless.
