"Be Seeing You"

Patrick McGoohan, star of the 1960's surreal, British sci-fi-spy TV series "The Prisoner", has died.

Oh, the places we could go with that wacked-out little TV series . . . and its relevance to today (But did you know we have our own little newspaper?). An episode guide is here.

You could say, "Number Six" has finally left "The Village";)

Mid-morning Update: Reliving my adolescence on You-Tube this morning, I loved a comment dropped on one of the "Prisoner" videos:

"Be seeing you, Number Six. Give my regards to Number One".

At the time I watched reruns of that show in the early 80s I just loved how weird it was. Loved the bubble things. And the clothes they wore. Now when I see them I get all freaked out about how much like real life it is.

Chuckle. I don't remember exactly when/how I first saw the show. But being a sci-fi geek that lived and breathed "Star Trek" and "Dr. Who", and the original "Galactica", I remember LOVING it.

And you're right. In today's frame of reference - it's way creepy.

I've been practicing the "Be Seeing You" salute all day;)

Live long and prosper . . .
