I have my reasons for being in the blogosphere. I'm not "Kevin", I'm not out to win a Weblog award, and/so I generally don't pile on the "weird/tragic medical story of the day". For instance, the recent death of John Travolta's son - or the boy's medical problems - or the family's religious beliefs - were not on my list of things to pontificate or speculate about. Leave them be to grieve in peace.
But I've been following this story with a genuine sense of horror, wonder and awe.

Yeah, a foot in the brain is out of the norm, but the crowd at the News & Record have had one in their collective mouths for years, and with no hope of removal.
I often wonder what one would see if one CT'd the heads of our local journalists.
Empty spaces are black.
