"Space is disease and danger wrapped in darkness and silence."
So sayeth the new Dr. Leonard McCoy.
I will always love the old one.

Questions and discussion topics for "the House" . . . be it the "House of God" or the "House of Representatives" . . . posed and posted by a North Carolina Pediatrician (and former public servant) thoroughly cozened by those who have used and abused the "not-for-profit" sector: SAYING WHAT OTHER DOCTORS THINK AND SIGNING MY NAME. P.S. I'm expressing my OPINION folks. If you don't like it, don't call names. Change my mind.

McCoy went to medical school at Ole Miss?
Chuckle. Yes, that is part of the lore. McCoy's Daddy was a Baptist preacher. Kinda gives you hope for Faith in the future:)
DeForest Kelley, the actor who played "Bones" was born in Georgia. By all accounts, he was one of the last, great Southern gentlemen in Hollywood. It was important to him that American Southeners be portrayed positively as they interacted with other members of the Enterprise's racially and ethnically diverse crew.
(Well, maybe everybody but Spock;)
Kelley also took great staisfaction in the fact that he had been married to the same woman for 50 years - while Shatner and Nimoy collected wives. It became a bit of a running joke between the co-stars.
