"Redistributive Change"

From Drudge this morning: An oldie-but-not-so-goodie from Barrack Obama.

Change is actually "redistributive change".

Oh, and this is funny and "in the spirit of Halloween". NOT!

How about we redistribute the wealth from all of those overpaid Californicators (the Halloween gag is in West Hollyweird, a cesspool of liberalism and decadence) back here? Anyone that can afford $650,000 for a house less than 800 square feet could surely send some green our way.

Just from looking around over the last few weeks - real estate in some places has gotten really stupid.

And a lot of people in the real estate game don't seem to have gotten the memo on the housing crisis.

I can tell you that the housing market on the left coast has seen some radical changes of late. Unfortunately for some like our son who has worked and lived there for a number of years and now is wanting to relocate to the Lone Star State he is stuck with one of the overpriced, over inflated houses. When he bought it about 3 years ago for $750K it was a great deal considering it has close to 3000sqft and is located in Orange. A few months ago it was appraised at 1.5 million dollars but unfortunately there have been no takers even at 1.1 million(furnished) and last week at below the one million mark. He is now wondering if he will even break even.
