On Sept 30, I blogged on the extremely premature birth of Mr. P (Produce)'s great-grandson and asked for prayer. Mr. P was once a frequent commenter on the GSO blogs . . . particularly at the N&R. Then he moved away. He popped back in occasionally, but for the most part he found better things to do.
P was one of the first bloggers to "get" my situation, and offer sympathy/support. I call him BlogFather.
His great-grandson's name was Augustine (Augie for short).
After a series of very serious complications, Baby Augie was taken off life support yesterday. Dallas says he is at peace knowing that the baby is dancing with angels.
Of course, I'm just all warm and fuzzy from all the supportive commentary offered up from our local blogging "community".
My thoughts and prayers are with Dallas.

I did pray and will continue to do so. What I failed to do was let you know that my heart and prayers are with you and your friends.
Thanks to those of you who responded. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated. Lil Augie is now made perfect and is dancing with the angels.
Most of all Doctor Mary, Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are one precious, thoughtful, loving individual. One of these days I hope that I can say thank you face to face for all that you have done and for the knowledge you have provided during these past 21 days.
