Unlike many folks in Randolph County, I have no use for my long-standing state "representative" (and former Speaker of the NC House), Harold Brubaker.
When I called him once, on addressing me (in short, dismissive correspondence) as "Ms. Johnson", he smugly took great pains to tell me that I was just as disrespectful because I had addressed him as "Representative" rather than "Speaker" Brubaker. Never mind that he no longer held that job. He was just a jerk.
And he has never, ever offered any assistance in addressing what happened to me, as a physician in state and federal service, at Randolph Hospital. In other words, he has always been a jerk.
After reading Mark Binker's story in the N&R this morning, I have even less use for Mr. Brubaker now. These are the people to whom I've been appealing for ethical review of my case???
