Smell Those Flowers

As I alluded yesterday, I am planning a post whose subject will be tax returns . . . specifically those of "non-profits" . . . and even more specifically, the responsibility of "non-profits" to produce certain information to the public when asked. I thought I would get it up today, but this morning my Mother and I made a wee-hour run to the Farmer's Market, followed by visits to a number of area garden shops. I love just walking around in a greenhouse. They always have this incredibly fresh "overly-oxygenated" smell.

I bought a hanging plant called "Baby's Tears" and a flowering plant called "Bleeding Heart". And I fell in love with a tree called "Weeping Blue Atlas". Alas, it would not fit in Mom's car.

I also bought a bucket of fresh strawberries and some rosemary pecan bread.

We stopped by a friend's house on the way home (one of my "Yas"). She is rennovating and nesting . . . and I am taking great delight in watching her do it.

I arrived home to a beautiful yard full of blooming dogwoods and azaleas . . . a hedge-full of bunnies (ala Watership Down) . . . and squirrels/birds everywhere.

Taxes aren't due until Monday. The post can wait.

Today, I am stopping to smell flowers.

Easter blessings to all . . .
